Hello and welcome!
My name is Bianca de Groot, founder of LARTA.
The idea for LARTA was born in 2019, while writing my master's thesis. As I delved into mathematical formulas, I suddenly realized that my true passion was for art. My fascination with artists - their passion, strength, and courage - has always intrigued me.
The way they express their inner world through their work, whether it's painting, photography, writing, acting, or other form of art, I find incredibly inspiring. Every artist has a unique idea that they bring to life, and I love seeing how these ideas can change the world.
I am a photographer and a big fan of film. Photography and films provide me with the creative space I need. I find it amazing how a director can convey emotions through images and sound, how actors can express an entire feeling or atmosphere with the smallest expression in their eyes or a subtle facial gesture, without a single word being spoken.
With LARTA, I want to ensure that artists have the space to fully live out their passion. I believe every artist should have the chance to practice their craft seriously, regardless of where they are in their career. That's why I offer a platform for emerging artists to present themselves. Through photography, video, and interviews, I want to better understand artists and share their stories with the world.
My goal is to create a world where art and culture hold an important place - a world where artists are seen and their work is recognized.
LARTA is a place where artists can grow, be understood, and be in the spotlight. That's what I'm committed to!

Sinds februari 2025 werkt LARTA samen met studenten van het Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht. LARTA is erg blij met hun hulp! Op dit moment werken zij aan een animatievideo die naar verwachting later dit jaar online komt.
